Happy New Year! Thanks to all who came out to Volume 11 to ring in
2010 with us. Much fun was had!
Next Sunday night (Jan 17th), we’re opening for Mother’s Finest at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh NC. We’re ultra-excited because we are HUGE Mother’s Finest fans. It’s an early show — we’ll be going on shortly after doors open at 8, and the whole thing will be over by 11 or so. Even if you don’t get MLK Day off work, that show will be worth being a little tired on a Monday.
See ya there!

We’re sad to have to share that Greg’s mom passed away this week, so we won’t be playing at Volume 11 this Saturday, November 7, with Powerman 5000, 9mm Disco, and Swarm Theory.
Mrs. Putnam was a super lady and a very supportive mom. In fact, she could frequently be seen at our hometown shows in her black Jam Pain Society skull shirt. We’ll miss her lots.
Although we won’t be able to perform Saturday, we hope you’ll still show your support for the bands and for Volume 11 and attend the show. It’s sure to be a great one!
We’ll let you know when we book our next show in Raleigh. In the mean time, take care of yourselves, and as always, thanks for your support.

Thanks guys!

Updated October 23, 2008: Cage Match Grand Champs!
We were in Fayetteville NC on Friday October 17, getting ready to hit the stage at Jester’s when we found out… “Wasted” swept the entire week of Rock 103.5’s Cage Matches, earning us the esteemed title of Cage Match Grand Champs!
DJ Sean O’Brien, aka The S.O.B., put Wasted against some way cool songs throughout the week: Tantric’s “Fall Down”, Slipknot’s “Dead Memories”, Evolocity’s “Dark”, Finger Eleven’s “Talking to Walls”, and a tune Friday night by Five Finger Death Punch that we don’t know because we were radioless and getting ready for our show. Every night, “Wasted” came out on top.
We’re honored, thrilled, and very appreciative. Sincere thanks to all you callers — whether you were there for one night or all five. You guys are the best!
Updated October 17, 2008: Final Cage Match Tonight!
With your help, Wasted took Rock 103.5’s Cage Match Thursday, beating out Finger Eleven’s Talking to Walls. That’s four wins in a row!
If we win tonight’s final match, we’ll be named what The SOB calls the much-coveted, rarely awarded Cage Match Grand Champs.
Tune your radio to Rock 103.5 FM or stream it online at www.rock103rocks.com.
Thanks for all you’ve done to help get us this far!
Updated October 16, 2008: Cage Match Update: 3 Rounds Down, 2 To Go!
Wow… you guys did it again. In Round 3 of Rock 103.5’s Cage Match Wednesday night, The S.O.B. pitted Wasted against Evolocity’s Dark. You called, and Wasted took the match for the third night in a row. It bears repeating often: JPS fans = best fans EVER!
Winning Wednesday night means we’re in the running again tonight. And only two nights to go until we’ve swept the week. How cool would that be?! Okay, so tonight at 9 p.m. EST, tune your radio to 103.5 FM or stream it online, and remember to call in your vote: www.rock103rocks.com.
Updated October 15, 2008: Cage Match, Round 2: JPS Wins!
Wasted is still in The Cage after knocking out Slipknot’s Dead Memories, thanks to all you Tuesday night voters. That’s right, you did it again!
